Therapist Circle provides credentialing access, insurance billing services to associate-level therapists licensed in Washington State, and a searchable directory listing for therapists who are already prepared to operate independently. We do not provide practice building, client acquisition, or business coaching.

Membership Prerequisites
You can apply and join, but you must have at least three confirmed paying clients prior to your chosen start date.
You must be licensed, or be willing to obtain a license in the state of Washington.
You must have business registration and liability coverage, or achieve those prior to your chosen start date.
You are responsible for your own marketing and client acquisition and you must be prepared to grow your business.

Most clients cannot afford cash sessions and need to access therapy using their insurance.
Associates cannot normally accept insurance payments from their clients. However, we have multiple insurances which you can bill for through our contracts.

SimplePractice EHR practice fee.
You get access to our group EHR and insurance contracts through the most popular private practice EHR.

Billing service fees.
We contract with a billing service for a special rate of just 6% of the billed encounter fee.
For example, for a $150 cash payment, there would be a $9 billing fee for claim processing and payment collection. If the client pays via credit card, there may be a 3% fee charged by merchant banking to process those.

Supervisor Karen King LMHC fee.
Optionally, supervision is available, for an additional fee of $70/hr (shared with another associate), or $120/hr (individual).
Group Supervision may also be available monthly for our Associate community.

Squarespace Website Special Flat fee.
A one time fee of $1579 (normally $1800) for domain setup and build out of a Squarespace 1-3 page website for your Private Practice business — using your own content and your own domain. The final product is entirely yours to change or update as needed.

We regularly arrange group CEUs so you can keep up to date with your license requirements. Costs are shared among participants.
